Haisla Nation Council provides a school supply allowance for each registered Haisla band member entering Kindergarten through Grade 12, attending school on and off reserve. Payment will be made to the parent/guardian via direct deposit.
Application deadlines and payment batches are as follows:
Batch 1: Application deadline June 21 2024 - Payment by Friday, June 28 2024
Batch 2: Application deadline July 12 2024 - Payment by Friday July 19 2024
Bath 3: Application deadline Aug 16 2024 - Payment by August 23 2024
Batch 4: Application deadline Aug 30 2024 - Payment by Sept 6 2024
Cut off for the School supply allowance for 2024/25 is Sept. 13, 2024. No payments will be made after this date.
The following options are offered when submitting your completed School Supply Allowance form(s): email to Angie Maitland at amaitland@haisla.ca; drop off to the Haisla Nation Council Band Office Receptionist; mail to (PO Box 1027, Kitamaat, BC V0T 2B0); or complete the form online below.
Incomplete forms will cause delay.
