Haisla Membership Law

The Haisla Nation Membership Committee has been reviewing and is preparing to update the 1987 Kitamaat Band Membership Laws. Based on the current laws, there will be some changes effective immediately.

These changes will include, if you are a Registered Haisla Band Member and are no longer married to your spouse through divorce or separation or if you have no Haisla parent on the Haisla Band list, you will be asked to transfer back to your original band.
