Please note that Haisla Fisheries concluded its marine biotoxin monitoring program for butter clams and cockles in December 2023.

As a precautionary measure, both CFIA and DFO have officially closed Ursula Channel (including Monkey Beach) to bivalve shellfish harvest until testing resumes in 2024.
