First Peoples Law is once again offering their $10,000 Indigenous law student scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded to an Indigenous law student currently enrolled at a Canadian law school with a demonstrated interest in serving and advancing the interests of Indigenous Peoples.

At a duly convened council meeting on April 17, 2024, Haisla Nation resolved to conduct a by-election to fill two vacant council positions. This decision was formalized through a Band Council Resolution. An independent third party, OneFeather, has been appointed to oversee the by-election.
