In preparation of the upcoming Curbside Collection Program starting on March 11, 2024, the HNC Environment department delivered the following to each household in Kitamaat Village along with a 2024 Recycle Pick Up Calendar:
1 x “Green bin” 57 L food waste container for curb side use.
1 x “Kitchen catcher” for food waste for indoor use.
1 x “Blue bin” 121 L for recycling (includes lid) for curb side use.
4 x “indoor recycling organizers” vinyl plastic organizers for indoor use.
1 x “Garbage bin” 121 L for garbage (includes lid) for curb side use.
Since the delivery of the bins, the calendar has been *REVISED*. Please recycle the calendar that was delivered with the bins.
The March 11, 2024 collection date will be for garbage and compost (Food waste).
