With a focus on supporting Elders aged 55 and older and Youth under 18, this role is all about keeping them informed, connected, and supported by sharing important updates and information with them about our programs and services.

The Communications Outreach Worker serves as a trusted resource, actively listening to feedback and supporting Elders and Youth in understanding and navigating the information provided by the Nation.

What is a Communications Outreach Worker

A Communications Outreach Worker focuses on building meaningful connections with both Elders (aged 55+) and Youth (under 18), ensuring these groups stay informed about programs, services, and official notices or announcements from elected Chief and Council.

Relationship Building

Spending time with Elders and youth to build connections.

Sharing Updates

Communicating programs, services, and announcements from Haisla Nation.

Part of the Haisla Nation Communications & Events team and based at the Administration building, Alanis is a member of the Haisla Nation and focuses on building relationships with Elders and Youth.
