What is the Bears' Lair Camp:
It is a camp for youth ages 11-18 to learn more about business, entrepreneur skills, life skills, public speaking, team building, and much more.
This 4 day camp aims to educate and inspire Indigenous youth ages 11-18 by providing them with valuable business skills, while making friends, playing games, winning prizes and having fun!
Where will the camp be held?
The camp will be held in our community at the Haisla Youth Centre.
What are the hours for each day of the camp?
● Friday: 5:00 - 8:30 pm (Dinner provided)
● Saturday: 9:30 am - 4:00 pm (Breakfast & Lunch provided)
● Sunday: 9:30 am - 4:00 pm (Breakfast & Lunch provided)
● Monday: 5:00 - 8:30 pm (Graduation Ceremony with Dinner provided)

Haisla Nation currently has two apartment units available for rent. The application process for these two units will be done in paper format.
Although the notice notes a December deadline, the deadline for paper applications has been extended to January 17, 2025, at noon. Applications can be dropped off at our office located at 729 Gitksan Avenue, Haisla, BC. Electronic submissions are also accepted and can be emailed to halexcee@haisla.ca by noon on January 17, 2025.

Members must complete the “Renting it Right” certificate. To access the website please click here: https://www.rentingitright.ca/
If you previously submitted your name for a unit you must reapply, however, you are not required to complete the “Renting It Right” again.
