At an Extraordinary Council Meeting held on August 7, 2025, at the Haisla Nation Administration Office, Haisla Nation Council approved—by Band Council Resolution—the appointment of Kimberly Robinson to the role of Deputy Chief Councillor.

The Deputy Chief Councillor position is appointment for a two year term and Kimberly’s term will take effect August 28, 2025.

The role of the Deputy Chief Councillor is to support the elected Chief Councillor and to actively participate in various committees, meetings, and gatherings representing the Nation. This position plays a vital part in advancing the interests of the Haisla Nation and ensuring strong leadership across all areas of governance.
