What is the Comprehensive Community Plan?
A Comprehensive Community Plan is a long-term guide that sets out the vision, goals, and priorities for the future of the Haisla Nation. It is built from the voices of our members and reflects what they want life to look like in the years ahead. The plan considers the needs of those living in Haisla as well as members who live away from home, ensuring that everyone’s perspectives are included. It provides direction on important areas such as housing, culture, language, health, economic development, and environmental stewardship, so that elected leadership can make informed decisions that support a strong, thriving community for generations to come.
