The language and culture team is asking members to help build a clear picture of x̄á'islak̓ala and x̄enáksialak̓ala in our community today. Where the language is spoken and heard, how members feel about it, and what would help people learn it.
Three surveys are now open. You can fill out all three or just the ones that apply to you. Every answer helps shape the classes, resources, and programs the team plans next.

Survey 1
Language Assessment Survey
Covers basic demographics, your exposure to the language, and your interest in learning. Helps the team understand where the language is being used in our community.
Survey 2
Language Attitudes Survey
Asks how you feel about the language and its place in daily life, ceremony, and community. Helps the team understand what the language means to our members.
Survey 3
Language Learning Interest and Personal Resources Survey
Asks about your interest in and capacity for language learning, so programs can be built to suit the community’s needs.
