Haisla Nation Council and Haisla Fisheries have sourced a supply of herring eggs which will be distributed to each Haisla household in Kitamaat Village and in the District of Kitimat.

Delivery of the eggs is to take place the morning and afternoon of Thursday, May 21.

Members who may not be home are asked to leave a covered container at their doorstep. For those who live in apartment buildings staff will not be able to enter the building so the eggs cannot be left behind.

If you otherwise miss the delivery, you can pick up the eggs from the Haisla Fisheries building in Kitamaat Village on Friday, May 22.

For your information, these herring eggs have been placed in a brine and will need a thorough soaking.
