Haisla Nation Council Mourns the Loss of Beloved Community School Teacher

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Haisla B.C

It is with great sadness that Haisla Nation Council extends our heartfelt condolences to Rob Parker, Principal of the Haisla Community School, and his family on the passing of his wife, Tammy Parker.

Tammy was a valued member of the Haisla Community School team, serving as the Grade 4–5 Teacher and making a lasting impact on the lives of countless students, families, and colleagues. Her dedication to education, kindness, and commitment to supporting our children will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.

During this incredibly difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with Rob, their family, the students whose lives Tammy touched, and the entire Haisla Community School staff. We recognize the profound loss being felt throughout our school community and beyond.

On behalf of Chief and Council, we offer our deepest sympathies and support to the Parker family. We encourage our community to keep them in their thoughts and to respect their privacy as they grieve this tremendous loss.

Tammy’s contributions to our community and the care she showed for our children will not be forgotten.
