To the Haisla Membership,

Last year on December 6, 2010, Haisla Nation Council declared a per capita distribution (PCD) payment of $8000 to each Haisla member as a ONE time only payment.

There are NO plans for a similar PCD payment now or anytime in the near future.

The $1000 annual payments to Haisla members aged 65 years and over is a separate payment as a result of the Rio Tinto Alcan / Haisla Legacy Agreement. These monies are paid by RTA, not the Haisla Nation Council.

These are the only payments that will continue to be made for the next three years as per the terms of the agreement.
